Kentucky IRS Help Licensed CPA · Louisville, KY

Licensed Kentucky CPA · Representing taxpayers nationwide

Behind on your taxes? Find out what you actually qualify for.

A licensed CPA pulls your IRS account transcripts, reads what's really on your record, and explains in plain English which resolution programs apply to your situation. Free review. No obligation.

Why start with a transcript review

Most people call us knowing only the number on a notice. That number doesn't tell you how much time the IRS has left to collect, whether penalties can be removed, or which programs you're eligible for. Your transcripts do.

  • You'll know the deadlines. Collection statute dates, appeal windows, and response deadlines that are already running.
  • You'll know your options. Payment plans, hardship status, penalty abatement, the Offer in Compromise program, or amended and unfiled returns.
  • You'll know the cost. A flat fee quoted in writing before any engagement letter is signed. No percentage of your balance.
  • You'll know if you don't need us. Plenty of situations are handled faster and cheaper by the taxpayer directly. We'll say so.

If your wages are being garnished or your account was levied

Those have short response windows. Call (502) 555-0100 rather than waiting on a form reply.

Rough numbers are fine — everything gets verified against IRS transcripts anyway.

Please leave out Social Security numbers and account numbers.

Typical response time: one business day.

What we handle

IRS collection matters

Unpaid balances

Installment agreements, partial-pay arrangements, and Currently Not Collectible status when your income genuinely doesn't support payments.

Offer in Compromise

The IRS program that resolves a liability for less than the full amount when your income, assets, and allowable expenses show the balance isn't fully collectible. Strict eligibility, heavy documentation.

Levies and garnishments

Wage garnishments, bank levies, and federal tax liens — including release and withdrawal requests where the facts support them.

Penalty abatement

First Time Abate and reasonable cause requests for failure-to-file and failure-to-pay penalties.

Unfiled returns

Reconstructing and filing missing years. Nothing else can move forward until required returns are filed.

Payroll tax balances

Employment tax liabilities and Trust Fund Recovery Penalty exposure for business owners and responsible parties.

How the review works

Four steps, no cost to find out

  1. 01

    Confidential conversation

Fifteen to thirty minutes on the phone. What you owe, for which years, and what's changed financially.

  2. 02

    Transcript review

With a signed Form 2848, we pull your account, wage, and income transcripts and read the full record — assessment dates, collection deadlines, prior filings.

  3. 03

    Written recommendation

You receive the realistic options, what each one requires, and a flat fee. That's the engagement point. If you walk away, you keep the analysis.

  4. 04

    We represent you

Correspondence, financial statements, filings, and appeals go through us. IRS contact comes to our office, not your phone.

Straight talk

What we will never tell you

This industry has a reputation problem, and it was earned. Here's what you will not hear from this office.

  • That your outcome is guaranteed. No CPA, attorney, or enrolled agent controls what the IRS decides.
  • That we have inside contacts at the IRS. Nobody does. Cases are decided on documented financials and statute.
  • That a deadline expires this week. Real IRS deadlines come from your notices, and we'll show you exactly where.
  • A quote before we've seen your transcripts. Any firm pricing your case before reading your record is guessing.

Before you hire anyone

You can review your own eligibility with the IRS Offer in Compromise Pre-Qualifier, and free assistance may be available through the Taxpayer Advocate Service or a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. We would rather you know that up front.
